In practical industrial applications, a Raymond mill is designed to grind non-flammable and non-explosive materials with a Mohs hardness of up to 7 and moisture content generally below 6%. The finished product fineness typically ranges from 40 to 400 mesh, making it suitable for a wide variety of downstream uses.
After the bulk material is crushed to the required size by the jaw (hammer) crusher, the material is sent to the storage hopper by the elevator, and then the material is uniformly and quantitatively and continuously sent to the main grinding chamber by the electromagnetic vibrating feeder for grinding.
The ground material is sent to the classifier by the airflow of the fan for classification. Under the action of the classifier impeller, the material that does not meet the fineness requirements falls into the grinding chamber for re-grinding, and the material that meets the fineness requirements flows through the pipeline with the airflow. It enters the cyclone powder collector for separation and collection, and is discharged through the discharge device to become the finished powder. The separated airflow enters the fan through the return duct at the upper end of the cyclone powder collector. The system is a closed circuit system and runs under positive and negative pressure.
Because the material being ground in the mill contains a certain amount of water, the heat generated during grinding will cause the air in the mill to evaporate and expand, which will change the air flow of the system. In addition, the air inlet and the joints of the pipes are leaky. The entry of air makes the air flow in the system out of balance. For this reason, the excess air is introduced into the bag filter through the exhaust pipe valve set at the air outlet of the fan, and is discharged after being purified, so as to achieve environmental protection while adjusting the air flow balance of the system produce.
